What is The Youth United?
The Youth United is a Christian outreach ministry dedicated to preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and encouraging Christians in their walk with the Lord. Our ministry has existed primarily on the Internet, and on The Youth United Teleconference, our weekly telephone conference. Callers of all ages attend to hear the Gospel, learn the Word and fellowship with Christian believers. We promote on social networks (Myspace, Facebook etc.) and have had callers from all over the world, and have seen lives transformed by the Grace of God.
A conference call? Do I have to talk??
No! many people call in to listen anonymously. We do have praise report and prayer request times during the call, so if you would like you can speak up then 
but if not its ok to just listen in.
We start the call every Tuesday at 9:30 PM EST. The conference begins with an opening prayer and announcements, followed by a praise report time where callers can come on the line and give praise reports. Following that we have a testimony (5 mins), a song before the message, the message, followed by a closing song and the invitation/altar call. After the message we take prayer requests from any who choose to come on the line.
What is a praise report?
We take the time to tell each other of the things God has done in our lives since the week before – some people just thank Him for waking them up each morning, others have amazing testimonies of things God has done in their lives.
How much does the call cost?
The call is absolutely free, however normal local phone rates do apply. Many call from phones with nationwide calling plans.
Will people be able to hear or see me on the line?
No and…no.
When you call in the line will be muted and the host(s) will be the only ones speaking on the line. You will remain anonymous and be able to listen to the call at your leisure!
What denomination are you?
We aren’t affiliated directly with any denomination but are overseen by members of different denominations. This ministry is built on the foundation of Jesus Christ and His Holy Word, focusing on the salvation and relationship He offers to us as sinners.
